Seventh Heaven (Kakan) One of the places we always gladly recommend to our guests is Seventh Heaven on the island of Kakan. This special restaurant is run by a charming couple who spend part of the year living on the almost uninhabited island of Kakan. Over the years, they have built this place with great effort and heart, step by step, creating an atmosphere that many guests remember as one of the most beautiful experiences on the islands. They are not here only during the season – they also stay on the island in winter, take care of the olive trees, participate in the harvest, and prepare everything needed for the new season. This dedication and love for the island can be felt in every detail. The restaurant is located on a slightly elevated spot above the sea, offering a beautiful view of the olive groves and the untouched nature of the island. As you sit at the table listening to the sound of cicadas in the background, you can forget about everyday life for a moment and completely relax in this unique setting. The menu features numerous Dalmatian specialties and homemade products, among which guests especially enjoy: • cuttlefish risotto • homemade prosciutto • a selection of high-quality meats • fresh fish prepared on the grill immediately after ordering The island of Kakan is well known among sailors as one of the favorite anchoring spots. Many stay here for one night or even several days, attracted by the crystal-clear sea and the incredible colors of nature. Nearby, you will also find the beautiful Blue Lagoon, an ideal place for a swim while waiting for lunch to be prepared.
Konoba Kunjka
Konoba Kunjka is located in a beautiful and peaceful bay on the northern side of Kaprije Island, surrounded by crystal-clear sea and untouched nature. What makes this location truly special is that it is the only restaurant in the entire bay, offering guests complete tranquility, privacy, and an authentic Mediterranean experience. The ambiance is typically Dalmatian – the konoba is decorated in a rustic style, predominantly made of wood, which adds warmth and authenticity to the space, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for escaping everyday life. Konoba Kunjka is well known for preparing fresh fish, octopus, and other seafood on the grill or under the traditional “peka”. In addition, the menu also offers a variety of meat dishes prepared in the same traditional way. Guests can also enjoy homemade specialties and carefully selected wines.
